this headcanon and this art together—those sleepy cat faces garrus is making—are the cure for any tired monday morning. if i had shepard’s sleep schedule (or lack thereof) and looked over to see even garrus vakarian was tired just like me, i’d be far more confident in my ability to save the galaxy while running on empty. (also the nom nom has to inspire a chin rub or two. i wonder if garrus likes that kind of thing…?)

Is this supposed to be a dog-yawn or a bird-yawn? Because I love watching my birds yawn — they are so adorable. They kind of twist their heads back and forth, while stretching their necks up with their beaks wide open.

sometimes i feel exactly like this…as if the physical embodiment of my errors, my responsibilities, and the expectations placed on me (by myself as much as others) is a Reaper.  too enormous and too numerous to wrap my brain around. winning on most fronts, wreaking incalculable damage on the world, and the future.

but the best part is the person beside you.  i’m lucky enough to have that.  and it makes all the difference.

Garrus in what I like to think of as his model pose. He cocks his head slightly and looks like he should have a sweater slung over one of his shoulders or something else that only makes sense to me, haha. I’m sure other characters do it and it’s just one of many stock poses, but I only notice it with Garrus because of dem hips and shoulders.
